Hosted within the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences , this fully funded two-year position offers an exciting opportunity to work on land-use optimization, soil data valuation, GIS analysis, and sustainable land management through an interdisciplinary research project funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) . The successful candidate will collaborate with Dr. Feng Qiu , Dr. Xiaoli Fan , and a multidisciplinary team of researchers to develop innovative approaches that improve land-use planning and quantify the value of publicly available soil data for environmental and economic decision-making.
